Wow, what a day! All day Tuesday, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz traded heated barbs while Indiana voters went to the polls, and no one suspected this would be the last day we heard from candidate Ted.
But when the numbers began to roll in Tuesday night and voters gave a solid victory to Trump, Cruz decided to drop out, surprising more than a few people.
Also surprising was Bernie Sanders upsetting Hillary Clinton. Clinton still has a huge lead in the race, but the big Bernie win deflates her sails some.
In the end, the people had the last word.
