Gary Wayne Toler, 68, of Thompsonville passed away Monday morning, May 2, 2016 at the Herrin Hospital.
He was born in Anna, IL on August 13, 1947, the son of Homer and Edith (Mendall) Toler.
He married Claudia J. (Hill) on April 28, 1990, and she survives.
Mr. Toler was a State Police officer, he served in the Vietnam War, he was a mechanic and a stay at home Dad.

Wife: Claudia Toler of Thompsonville
Daughter: Christina Toler of Thompsonville
Grandson: Damon Toler of Thompsonville
2 Brothers:Carroll Toler of Thompsonville, Dee Toler of Jonesboro
1 Sister: Eloise Lipe of Murphysboro.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, by a Son-Gerald Toler, by 2 Sisters and 5 Brothers.
In honor of his wishes no services will be held.
